1. Acceptance
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing access, or using Screencial, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. The Service
Screencial is a browser-based tool for composing, customizing, and exporting social media screenshots and related visual assets. Access to the editor requires registration.
- New registered users receive a 7-day trial.
- The trial includes full product access and does not require a payment card upfront.
- After the trial, continued access requires a monthly plan, yearly plan, or lifetime purchase.
- Payments, invoices, and card details are handled by Stripe.
3. Accounts and Billing
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for ensuring that your billing information is accurate when you choose a paid plan.
- Recurring subscriptions can be managed through the billing area and Stripe portal.
- Lifetime access is a one-time purchase and does not create a recurring subscription.
- Access may be restricted when a trial ends, payment fails, or a subscription is canceled.
- Taxes, exchange rates, and payment provider charges may vary by location.
4. User Content and Conduct
You retain ownership of content you create or upload through Screencial. You are responsible for the content you generate, export, publish, or share.
You must not use Screencial to create or distribute content that:
- is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes third-party rights;
- misrepresents events, sources, people, or public statements as factual;
- impersonates individuals, brands, platforms, or news sources in a deceptive way;
- is designed to mislead, manipulate public opinion, or deliberately spread misinformation;
- attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the service.
5. Intellectual Property
Screencial's software, interface, templates, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Screencial or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the service to you.
6. Data, Cookies, and Privacy
Screencial processes personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Essential cookies and similar storage are used for sign-in, security, and core product behavior. Optional analytics or tracking will only be enabled after consent where required.
7. Availability and Changes
Screencial is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed, including to maintain security, comply with law, or ship product improvements.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Screencial is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by user content, third-party services, payment providers, or external platforms where exported content is published.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms, without limiting any mandatory consumer or data protection rights that apply under EU law.
